Ann and Phil have been working hard on their characterful but cosy newly-established farmhouse B&B in excellent walking country.
Warm and welcoming, the farmhouse which dates back to the 15th Century has a wealth of original features - inglenook fireplace, a woodburning stove and beamed ceilings - sits in its own grounds of eight and half acres and is a quiet location for a relaxing stay. The gardens are there to be enjoyed and stunning views over the valley to the sea, Lundy Island and beautiful sunsets.
There is ample parking, quality accommodation, with all new fixtures and fittings. Clean, light and airy rooms include twin/six foot super king double beds with en-suite bathroom or luxury king size double with private bathroom.
Ann is an excellent cook who looks after her guests with a sizzling traditional English breakfast cooked on an Aga, including free range eggs and local Devon produce or an alternative choice for vegetarians.
The farmhouse is an ideal base for business visitors and tourists alike. There are facilities for walkers and cyclists including a drying area and cycle storage. Ann and Phil are very helpful and knowledgeable about this excellent walking countryside. They have maps to borrow and a full range of tourist info to hand to help you explore the area.
